The combat history book of the s.Pz.Abt.503 (The first edition)

The combat history of the s.Pz.Abt.503 German language first edition. A famous Tiger tank commander: Alfred Rubel and veterans of the s.Pz.Abt.503 edited for their memorial, and published by themselves by 250 books in 1990. This is the one of them.

I think it's better to search a combat history of Leutnant Zabel. But it must take too much time, because the book has 578 pages plus attachments almost 150 pages involves many reports and a reprint Tigerfibel. 

Later I found a information about Leutnant Zabel, finally.

The English edition book published in 2008 has 439 pages.

Study of T.Z.F 9b (under construction)

Now it's under investigating the operation of T.Z.F 9b (Turret sighting telescope) of Tiger I, in parallel with the translation work of Tigerfibel.

Paper model kit; Panzer II, Panzer III and Stug III

Two paper model kits from my collection.

Panzer II and Panzer III paper model kits 1/20 scale were printed in WW II Germany.
It's a little bit off-topic from the Panzer manuals, but it's interesting that the paper model kits were used as the tank recognition training in WWII.
These kits were printed in thick paper are approx 70 x 50 cm in size.
Also a "Stug III" paper model kit existed in those days.

Here is a Stug III paper model kit below.

Unfortunately the image is low resolution, and I could not find the original one.

A adhesive ”UHU, Der Alleskleber” leaflet tells us this paper model kit was used for boys (but who were engaged in the military?) in those days.
"Auch bei den Modellierbogen der Heerestypen gibt es Schwierigkeiten. Sorgfältig müssen die Ketten der Panzerwagen ausgeschnitten werden. Um einen sauberen Nachbau zu erreichen, bestreichen wir die Kleberänder nur mit ganz wenig wasserfestem, farblosen.

The new book, "Otto Carius: El héroe del Tiger 217"

Mr. José Antonio Márquez Periano has released a new book 'Otto Carius: El héroe del Tiger 217' on Dec 2019! 
I believe this book is outstanding based on the following special issues as which were told by author.

"The author could speak with Mr. Carius for several times, so he had the opportunity to gather information never written in Otto Carius´ biography, "Tigers in the Mud", so it gives to the reader more value because he will read information never published before.

As the format of this book collection the author added a large number of photos never published ever before that will correct the Mr. Otto Carius "well known story" that cover the different tanks he commanded, the units he leaded and the battles he fought."

Wireless radio and Intercom system

It took two months, finished the four page's verification and translation about Radio and Intercom system.
I think the work of the manual book has almost done, except to the table of contents.

Due to an expert's deep verification of the wireless radio and the intercom Kasten Pz. Nr. 20, I found that a illustration and some texts on these pages of Tigerfibel may be incorrect. If I could understand the wiring diagram of the intercom, it would be more clear about the possibility, but.

A possibility of Tigerfibel for Tiger II

I found an information about D 656/47 Tigerfibel in a reprint manual of the Tiger II:  D 656/43 Tiger Ausführung B. Handbuch für den Panzerfahrer. 

It differs from D 656/27 Tigerfibel of Tiger I.

I wonder if it would be Tigerfibel for Tiger II.
